Tour of Jaffa and the Flea Market - Participants only
We thought that it would be nice to kick off the conference with a tour of Jaffa, to explore its old city, flea market, and local bites.
The tour will have us visit three market complexes, from the unique places in the Greek market, through the special khans and mosques, galleries, and the beautiful alleys of ancient Jaffa. We will taste Middle Eastern cuisine, try Israeli alcohol, and visit a bakery that has been around for 140 years.
The duration of the tour is approximately three hours. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to the hotel.
The tour is free of cost, courtesy of the Safra Center. Please let us know if you are interested in taking the tour.
